In 2006 Origin Fruit Direct came into being, an initiative of Dick and Randolf Aaldijk together with Afrifresh as South African partner. Dick knows the fruit import sector like no other: he started his career with one of the first importers at the Rotterdam citrus auction. Thanks to that experience, and its large network in the international fruit trade, Origin Fruit Direct got off to a flying start. Two decades later, it is a genuine group, with branches on four continents. Not coincidentally, the continents known as the main production locations of our core range, grapes and citrus. The group's sales find their way to customers in Europe and Asia, growing locations can be found in southern Africa, Egypt, India and South America.
